dope place
Originally a rock garage, it has transformed into a multi-genre venue with an outdoor stage and the extraordinary Radiomuseum music space, where musicians and guests are surrounded by unique exhibits that map a century of sound, technology, and design.
stages
where it all started.
Where it still hits hardest.
Every great story has a garage. This one was never meant to become a music venue. It became one anyway. Low ceiling. Raw walls. Tube amps humming before the first chord. A hundred people close enough to feel the bass in their chest and see the sweat on the strings.
Garage is the founding room of Doupě — the rock'n'roll nerve centre that Keith Richards once described as a dream no one had built yet. We built it. Hammond B3. Wurlitzer. Rhodes. Fender and Orange valve amps. d&b audiotechnik filling the room without flooding it.
Not a garage that plays at being professional. A professional room that never forgot it was a garage.Jazz plays here. Classical plays here. The walls don't care about genre. They care about commitment.

Old walls.
open sky.
No wall between you and the music.
The courtyard came second — and it came naturally. An old yard between the garages, walled in by buildings that have seen more than they let on.When the stage lights go up and the sky stays dark, something shifts.
The sound doesn't bounce off a ceiling — it rises and disappears into the night. What stays is everything that matters: the performance, the crowd, the particular warmth of a summer evening when nobody wants to go home. Four hundred people.
Close enough to feel private, large enough to lift a set from good to unforgettable. No filters. No pretence. Just the right space and the right sound finding each other.

a concert among thousands silent witnesses.
Imagine playing an acoustic set surrounded by a century of machines that once did exactly what you're doing now — filling a room with sound. The Museum of Sound is a working concert stage nested inside one of the world's largest private collections of vintage sound technology.
Edison cylinder phonographs. Art Deco radio consoles. Jukeboxes from the golden age. Gramophones with brass horns that haven't lost their shine. A thousand objects, each one a chapter in the story of how humanity learned to capture sound. No amplification fighting the room — just the instrument, the player, and an audience seated among artefacts that remind everyone what music sounded like before we took it for granted.
The collection is not behind glass. It's around you. You hear the concert. The machines remember.

Step inside 1969.
The future never looked this good.
Villa Charlotta is not a stage. It's a home — the home the Space Age promised and only a handful of people ever built.A detached house steps from the main compound, furnished with design icons from the late 1960s and 70s: moulded fibreglass chairs, spherical televisions, Weltron stereos, Brionvega radios, tulip tables and lamps that look like they were designed for a moon base. Everything is original.
Everything works. Everything is arranged as a living space — the way someone would have actually lived if their interior designer had been Stanley Kubrick.Lectures, listening sessions, intimate acoustic performances. A flashback to the era when humanity was racing toward the stars and designers reimagined every object in the home.Sit in a Pastilli chair.
Listen to a guitarist three metres away, playing through a room decorated for a future that never quite arrived — but feels more alive here than anywhere else.
