The album by the Czech-Slovak band Colorful People is an amazing mix of Latin music, pop and unique vocals from all three members of the ensemble. Bringing a mix of world-famous songs in a distinctive version, offering songs written by Sting, Leonard Cohen and John Mayer . This album transfers the trios's energy and musicality exactly as the listeners know it from live performances in our club.
The band's second album is released exclusively in the Doupě edition on two vinyls with a special drop-down cover. The album was recorded partly in the club Doupě and partly also in the recording studio Sono doupě Records, where the mix was subsequently performed.
The Doupe edition brings a unique set of two-disk recordings by Jana Kratochvílová. First album features reissue of cult vinyl Jana Kratochvilova from 1980 where, among other things, you can find the singers biggest hit In the shade of a fern. The second album brings a concert recorded live without an audience at the club Doupě during the pandemic in November 2020. Presenting rock material written by her life and musical partner, drummer Jiří Hrubeš, whom you also know from the band Pražský Výběr.
The album has a rich narrative cover with period and contemporary photographs, lyrics of each song, accompanying words by publicist Josef Vlček and is published in a limited numbered edition. The live album was mixed and edited by Pavel Karlík from Sono doupe Records studios.
The fifth studio album by Prague rock band Red Baron Band was released on CD in the summer of 2023 by the British Label Roulette Media. The album received very positive reviews both in our country and abroad and got into the playlist of Czech and many foreign rock radio stations. The entire recording is played by guitarist Pavel Kowacz and bassist Jiří G Rubeš, who are well known to the visitors of Doupě club and from the home band 333. Visitors of Doupě also had several opportunities to hear the singer Marika Postler.
The album was recorded mostly at Club Doupě and the mix was created in Sono Doupě Records recording studio.
The Doupě edition brings this excellent rock album on vinyl for the first time in an exclusive limited edition on black and red vinyl with an opening cover and two inserts.
The unique atmosphere during the filming of Jam&Talk at the Sono Doupě Records doupě was underlined by a live and spontaneous music video with the band Time for Three. These three brilliant musicians, Grammy Award winners, were thrilled not only with a concert with Czech Philharmonic, but also with a solo performance at the club Doupě.
