Studio equipment

With an area of 300 m2 and a height of 8 m, the studio provides an ideal setting for shooting all genres, from rock and folk music to jazz and serious music with an orchestra of up to 90 members.

The space is fully insulated and flooded with daylight, with three insulated booths and a large room with motorized walls. This allows rock, pop and jazz bands to be recorded simultaneously.

Directed by a Rupert Neve Designs 5088 mixer with 48 channels, it delivers top-notch sound with more dynamism than digital instruments. Monitoring is provided by TANNOY DMT 215 II, GENELEC 1037A, YAMAHA NS-10 and others. There is also an OTARI MTR-90III to 24 feet or to the 72-foot Pro Tools HD III system.

With an excellent patching system containing more than 150 tie lines, AES/EBU, SCSI, MIDI and more, connecting to various equipment is quick and easy. The SONO 1 Studio offers a wide selection of quality outboard equipment, microphones and vintage instruments, including Hammond, Vox, Fender and more.
